practicing in Bath

I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling awarded by the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC).

I offer psychotherapeutic counselling in the Bath area (£35.00 for a 50 min session). I have experience of working both short-term and longer-term, with adults and young people aged 18+ and with  a wide range of issues.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Due to the current situation with Covid-19, I am offering online sessions only but hope to be be able to offer face-to-face sessions again too in the near future.

I have worked for several years as a support worker in a University setting and currently work as a counsellor within a local charity, supporting young people aged 18-25.

Prior to this I worked in a low-cost counselling service with adults of varying ages and with a range of different issues.

Before I began training with the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC) I volunteered as a researcher on a project examining the role of parental behaviours in child PTSD.

I also volunteered as a listener for a well-known charity providing support for individuals that were feeling distressed or suicidal. During that time, and through my own experience of therapy, I have come to appreciate the powerful healing quality of human connection and of feeling truly heard.
