As well as working privately as a counsellor with adults of all ages, I work as a counsellor within a local charity, supporting young people aged 18-25.

Previously I worked in a low-cost counselling service and, prior to that, as a student support worker for university students.

Before training as a counsellor, I volunteered as a researcher on a project examining the role of parental behaviours in child PTSD. I also volunteered with a well-known charity, providing support for individuals feeling distressed or suicidal. During that time, and through my own experience of therapy, I have come to appreciate the powerful healing quality of human connection and of feeling truly heard.
