About Me

Before becoming a full-time therapist I volunteered for several years in a well-known listening service, providing support to individuals experiencing extreme distress. During that time, and through my own experience of therapy, I have come to appreciate the powerful healing quality of human connection and of feeling truly heard.

Previously I worked as a support worker for university students and, alongside my private practice, I work for a local charity providing counselling services for under 25s.

I am always seeking to expand my understanding of our human experience and to develop my own skills, to best support those I work with. Since qualifying, I have continued my professional development with training focused on working with trauma, sexual and gender diversity and neurodiversity.
